So I decided I'd try feeding my two babies F/T for the first time, today. Picked up two from the local petco which is the only place that sells them near here (I wanted to just buy for one feeding before ordering and buying in bulk and wasting if the babies wouldn't!) and ended up soaking the mice by accident and using a hairdryer to dry them...my normal girl Basilica took a little coaxing to bite it, but as soon as she bit it and I wigglepoked it, she wrapped almost her whole body around it and 'constricted it to death', lol. Got it down no problem.

The pastel I was expecting not to take it (cause that'd just be my luck, lol) but not only did he take it, he took it before I could even complete a pass in front of him back and forth with it! He knocked it out of my tongs and ate no problem! :eek:

I was so surprised! It was...shockingly easy. No exploding mice, no guts falling out, no blood...much better than I (and my mom) thought it'd be. (I still want to try thawing one in the microwave one day.......maybe an old one I never plan on using again.)

Anyways...I'm all excited so I just thought I'd share the news. Anyone have any suggestions for where I can get quality F/T mice/rats? Thanks!
