I am getting another snake. I have had humidity/temp problems in the past, but okay now. using aquariums. I have been reading advice on insulation them for winter, and I have been looking at tubs. but they all take so much room. I am wondering about a rack, I keep reading mentions of them, but don't have an idea what they are. I see ones rats are raised in, but snakes would escape in a second, so I am guessing the layout is simular, just closed in a lot different. Help, and a site to order, picture would really help. I like to look at my babies, so I am really struggling with this as to what is best to use, best for them. I have my BP and a corn and soon a milksnake(marked like a coral snake). Can't remember the fancy name.

I have had 2 new adventures. Added locks to the BP top because I came home and what I thought was him stretching for the top turnned out to be his tail hanging down. He pressed his way under the screen top edge, the lip didn't let him out but provided a small ledge to crawl on, but not far until he got stuck, no forward, no backup. Scared me to death, thought he could be dead, got the top popped and he dropped into the cage. I checked him immediately. Seemed okay. Has eaten since and in shed now. Gave me a scare, all the sides are locked down now.

Then I was holding my corn, went to do something next to a wicker shelve, and swish...he sticks his head in a hole. No problem, just back him out. Not..and then he zips into another and is going into this like it is a fun house maze. Some of the holes are small, and being of wicker I was afraid of splinters. I am trying to coax him out...my direction. He insisted on his way by biting me a good one on the fatty part of my hand behind my thumb.

Objective/subjective learning from my snake. I now know to just direct his head, leave the rest to him. Anyhow, hope a giggle and a memory for someone else.
