I noticed yesterday that the majority of the snakes in two of my racks seemed to be at the front of their tubs and a bit on the bitey side. I checked the tubs/t-stat, made sure nothing was out of place and chalked it up to weather changes as I thought maybe it was due to a brief tstorm that came through. Same thing again today. I finally found the problem, my probe somehow got moved from its spot and it is 96 at the hot spot. Yikes, my poor babies. Now I know it has only been like that for two days as I just cleaned all tubs out and I just checked placement of the probe then as well, but I feel like a horrible snake mommy roasting my babies for two days. What I can't figure out is how the probe moved. It is in a set up tub, it does not have a snake in it, I use it just for testing. Guess I need to ask my daughter if she messed with it when she gets home. Anyway, in this long rant, what I want to know is...
Will they all be fine being in higher temps for two days and has anyone ever noticed more agressive behavior with higher temps?
