    Unairconditioned cresite

I just got back to college yesterday and I'm going to pick up my new crestie today. In fact, she's already waiting at FedEx. The bad news: I've been running my air conditioner for 12 hours and my hellish apartment is still in the upper 80s. Obviously something is wrong with it. My BPs cool side is 86, warm 90. I know she'll be ok for awhile. But what about the new gecko?

She's already stressed out from the trip, I'm sure, and now I'm going to plop her into a 86* cage. I know prolonged periods of high temperatures are harmful. How prolonged? I've already called and the maintainance guys, they should be here today to fix my AC. What can I do to keep the new lizard cool until then or should I just not worry? Thanks.

Advice is what you ask for when you already know the answer but wish you didn't.
