Alright, so here's the deal. I have some pretty crazy ADHD, and even on my meds I have fidgety hands or feet. I am in constant motion 24/7. Yes, even in my sleep (actually have a giant bruise on my arm from where my gf punched me last night to get me to stop). Because of this many of my female friends take advantage of my need to be doing something at all times and they get quite a few free massages. God knows I've had alot of practice and many of them are quite jealous of my gf (who happens to be the only person I'll give a foot massage b/c she takes special care of those puppies, LOL), many of which tell me I should drop out of college and become a massage therapist and give them massages for free! lol.

Well... I do quite alot of PT (physical training) and never really had a real massage, usually they're just the one's girls give without a clue what they're really doing sorta massages, not the "find the knots/deferred pain pressure points and elimnate them" real deep muscle massage. Well, I had one today and I can say is... tylenol isn't strong enough to stop the pain. Apparently my back and shoulders are a minefield of dehydrated super-knots that when leaving a professional massage therapist I was in more pain than when I had a clean break in my femur. The crazy thing was, I was only tired when I went in, not really sore even. and now.... bending my back/neck in any way is quite the experience.

I guess my point of this long winded post in a nutshell is, for years I've been giving such massages and never really understood it when they would wince when I hit a knot and now.... holy moley. Anyone else had a particularly painful massage experience.
