I can't deal with the tank thing anymore. I had it spot on perfect at my old house. Got him moved here it was great up until a couple weeks ago, then all of the sudden I can't keep humidity up. I have to mist 3 times a day. The heat is going nuts. So he is getting a tub today. The final straw was the fact that I spent so much time and money making the tank right cause he kept going on feeding strikes, I got him eating again for a long time and now he has stopped again. I can't have him not eating. So Off to get him a new house.
I do have a question though, with the tubs, roughly how many holes do you put into it for good circulation? How to you do it, drill I assume? Also I will have to keep the top on the tub because I don't have a rack for only one snake. So should I put small holes in the top too or just around the outside?
Oh and I have a ranco thermostat, and uths. Would that be okay to heat the tub temporarily until I get some heat tape?
Thanks
