My trip to the Dorset heathlands ( Dial up Warning! )

Got back from spending 3 days on Hartland Moor and Stoborough Heath Reserve in Dorset .
It was Great fun .... i saw four out of our six uk reptiles up there (sadly didnt see any Smooth Snakes or the Slowworms BUT....here are a few of the beasties i managed to photograph
    Stoborough Heath Reserve

    Female Adder

The shy Common Lizard (best pic i could get of him...he made his mind up that he wasnt in the mood to show off lol)

Female common Lizard ( she wasnt much easer to photograph either lol)

    Female Broadtail Dragonfly

    Four spotted Chaser Dragonfly

Not sure what this spider is...maybe a type of woodlouse spider?

Sun dew (carnivorus plant found in the marshlands)

Thanks for looking i had a great time up there the last few days , i Saw a gorgouse male emerald green Sand Lizard too but i couldnt take a photo of him as he was havning none of it lol .
