i found a good breeder up in michigan to get my corn snake from, and he was telling me all the different morphs and stuff, and i really like this one called a ghost. he is going to meet me half way, so we don't have to ship the snake and skip all that stress. before i get him i want to make sure i have things set up. i have a 12 qt tub, with 2 hides, and a water dish. i was wondering for substrate do you think i should go with aspen, so the lil guy can burrow, or with newspaper for ease of cleaning? and as for the hides, do they have to fit tight like bp hides? for heat im just using a heat pad on a rheostat untill i buy a thermostat. since the tub is small i hope that will create a gradiant.

one last thing the corn i am going to get is a ghost, does any one have one of these, i would love to see some first hand photos.
