Okay, so I finally save up enough money for a really expensive tarantula, a P. metallica for you spider folks out there. Anyway $320 worth of spider. Ok, fine, I send my money, the guy ships the spider out on Monday night with the promise of next day delivery by noon. Noon arrives, the spider does not. I call the shipper and we both start calling every branch and service of the usps (yes I know it should be capatalized, they aren't worth it) and start asking questions. Where is the package?
Well they don't know. We have a tracking number and the website says it it "en route". Then they start telling us that there is no way it could have been delivered by noon because the shipper didn't get it to the post office until after 6 the night before. He, however has a receipt that says it will be delivered by noon.
My letter carrier knows that I get spiders in the mail and in the course of trying to help me locate the package must have said so. So the next time I talk to them I was treated in one of the most rude, nasty ways that I have ever been spoken to. They made it very clear that they don't give a flying (insert curse word here) about my package and start giving me a hard time because it was a spider that was shipped. (well, it is, but I never said so.) I am so mad I could chew nails!!!!! Not only do I not deserve to be treated like that it would be nice if some people somewhere in this world worried just for once about customer service!!!!!
On top of that there is somewhere out there floating about, a $320 tarantula that might or might not survive until tomorrow.
I'm so upset I don't even know how I feel. Thanks for reading, I apologize for ranting.
