Today I went to the TARAS Reptile Show and Sale in Calgary!

This guy peed on me:


He was so beautiful! I don't remember what kind of blood he was but the breeder let me handle him because I mentioned never seeing one up close before. I've drooled over Kara's blood threads a lot and handling this friendly guy was definitely a cool experience - pee and all. The breeder was cool, took him away till he was done and gave him back no problem.

Wow, I saw a mojave and a pastel and I got peed on by a blood python, I thought my day couldn't get better....

This lesser platty was really a highlight of my day. I thought I'd have a good idea of these morphs seeing photos, but man... there's nothing that can compare to having the snake right there in front of you.

I had such a great day and I got a new water bowl for my own normal boy at home, cause his is too small right now. What a marvellous way to rekindle my ball python obsession. And I still can't get over that blood python - what a gorgeous animal! All my show pictures!
