Well, I'm full of all of this nervous energy! Why? Well, I found out after meeting with my advisor on Thursday that while I need 15 more courses to graduate, I only need 7 more in my major and 2 more in Italian...which leaves me with 6 courses of "free electives" to play around with.

So, he suggested that, if I wanted to graduate Spring 2008, instead of Fall 2008, I could take a few elective courses over the summer, then take a couple online courses during intersession, and I could do it!

So, I'm all excited, but I'm suddenly really freaked out, too. I've got to call Westfield State (a local college) about taking some summer courses, and find out what I have to do to register for them. Then I need to come up with how I'm going to -pay- for said courses...

And then I was thinking: Well, I'm going to grad school, right? So, I checked deadlines with UConn Storrs (where I'd REALLY like to go for grad school) and the deadline for Fall 2008 admission is January 15th.

So, I need to take the GRE general test AND subject test in the next 6 months, get 3 letters of recommendation from professors, write a personal statement, put together my most well-researched research paper and get official transcrips from NCCC and UMD... My head's kind of spinning.

At this point I really only have one Masters program I'm applying to, which is scary, too. What if UConn doesn't want me? Then what? Ahhh!

Okay...I'm going to go get my laundry from downstairs, come back up here and try to sleep

Thanks for listening to my long, probably unreadable, rant.
