I feed in my tub and it hasn't caused a problem....yet. My snake seems stressed lately, and I am wondering if it is because of a lingering mouse smell in the room. When I put my hand in the tub to change the water or clean something, I get the feeling she is thinking I am a mouse. Even if I go to pick her up, she is real defensive. I have been moving very slowly around her, and never go toward her head. I know the bite wont hurt, but why would she be doing this. Could the mouse smell in the room, even if it isn't very strong, be getting her into her feeding response? My temps are 92-82, humidity is 50-60. I have a thermostat and all temps are taken using digital thermometers with the probes taped to the bottom inside over the flexwatt. Any opinions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Kyle.
