So just this past weekend I got my first snake. He's a 100% het pied (Maximus Decimus Merdius ), pretty darn good size [3'] from Ron Billingsley. First night in his cage he has a perfect shed!

I also have to admit, while i was at the show, someone pulled me aside and told me that this guy was walkin around with a pastel, and that i absolutely had to see it. I saw the snake, and i couldnt say no, especially for the price he was offering. It's gorgeous, and my camera phone doesnt do it justice.

Anyways, back to the topic, the pastel (the Reverand) is showing signs just like Max before he shed (rubbing nose on dish, substrate, wall, himself, yawning), except neither I or my boyfriend can see any bluish skin over his eyes, except a little flaky skin on the tip of his nose. and i mean its not really noticeable at all. Will he shed soon? Should I bump the humidity up?
