and I was wondering, how aggressive are ball pythons?

my cousin in law is about to move and cant take all 3 of his bp's with him so he is giving them out to me and my cousins to keep them in the family. Him and his wife (my cousin) both say it's a VERY well behaved snake and its very healthy and everything, but I just want to know about their tempers in general and if it will be aggresive towards me since i'm not the original owner. Sorry if something like this was already asked, I just want to provide the best care for the snake as possible,
