Well, I got bored saturday and decided to drive to the pet store I visit regularly for some snooping around. It's a 40 minute drive so I plan to stay for awhile. My girlfriend asked if she could go and I told her that was fine as long as she doesn't hassle me to leave. When we got there, I find out that there will be a delivery of 2 leucistic rat snakes, 1 GTP, and a few blazing blizzard geckos (soon to be part of my collection but that's another story). So I decide to hang around for awhile until this shippment arrives. My girlfriend agrees with no problem because she found a new friend. She's been holding a bunny for about 2 hours straight. After I check out the new arrivels, I had to nearly pry the bunny from her hands so we could leave. As we drive home, I realized that I havn't gotten anything for valentine's day. And then everything came together. I spent all of sunday building this ginormous rabbit hutch thing so that I wouldn't have to spend money on one. I'm not the master woodworker like some people on here and I was limited to the scrap wood above my garage. Today after school I drove all the way back down to the pet store to pick up the same rabbit she wanted. So this is long so just check out the pics and tell me what you think.
This is the building process...
This is the finished project. Ginger, my cat, is very curious.
The front of the cage (1/4 inch screen left over from rodent rack)
Piece of crap door that barely works but works none the less.
And finally, the bunny itself. Scratched the crap out of me.
And this would be me and kinsey just before heading out for some snowboarding. (1 year 6 months)
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE AT BP's.NET. AND HAPPY V-DAY TO KINSEY, HOPE YOU LIKE YOUR GIFT.
