Well, for anyone else who lives here in the Northeast, you all know that winter only -really- started about three weeks ago. Up till then the temps had been pretty balmy for a November/December/January in New England. The temps then dropped but (at least where I am), we haven't really got any -significant- snow. A dusting while I was home a few times, but nothing that gave any real groundcover.
I woke up this morning around 7 to snow! So, I decided to take a picture to preserve it--'cause who knows if it'll be there tomorrow? I don't really like cold weather much, but if it MUST be cold, I think it should be pretty and snowy outside.
So, pictures from my apartment window out onto winter wonderland!
This is my "romantic view of the drainage pond"--we had ducks in it last fall![]()
The woods and the baseball diamond (the "woods" are more like a swamp in the warmer months and I wanted to murder me some frogs last Spring...they were SO loud I had issues sleeping some nights.)
The drainage pond, dumpster, part of the circle in front of our building:
Yay snow!
