Feeding feeding question
Hi all, hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday. Here's my question. I have 2 06 spider BPs, got from Ben Siegel. The male at about 200 gms, is eating F/T rat pups with gusto, once a week, the female, who is smaller, at about 140gms, isn't taking to the F/T. I've brought her back to Ben's once already, so they could do her first feeding since she's been with me, they fed her a live mouse, grabbed it right away. That was a week ago. I really want to convert her to F/T, not because it is better, but in my situation, that is what's best for me. She seems not interested at all. Could it be because I am offering her too big of a prey item? Or a rat pup instead of a mouse? Any help would be appreciated. I don't want her to go without food for more than a week, so , I will have to feed her live I guess if all else fails. Is 10 days too long to go between feedings for a youngster? Someone told me to feed her every 4 days. Thanks!
