Yesterday, I made the 2 hour drive from Southeastern MA up to NH to check out the NERD facility and meet Kara. The facility is massive and impressive, to say the very least and they have such a HUGE variety of animals there.

The ZooCreatures petshop had puppies, kittens, rodentia of all kinds, birds, fish and though they weren't for sale: a pair of audacious Kookaburras and a very smart pig. Kara had the pig do tricks (he can sit and twirl in exchange for treats ).

I will say that Kara is such a nice, outgoing person She put me right at ease and took 2 hours out of her day to show me around the facility, let me hold and pet a wide variety of reptiles and explain different aspects of reptiles to me. She also showed me the newest addtions to her own family (a pair of very pretty, soft kitties). It was so nice of her to do that for a complete stranger--and I am so grateful

I met monitors, different types of iguanas, a very cranky cobra, and a plethera of beautiful Pythons, Ball Pythons and Boas. The morphs they had were amazing! I'm new to BPs and wasn't even aware that there were morphs until I started doing research about owning one a few months ago--so I'm sure if I knew more about the science behind morphs my mind would have been even more blown than it was. In a room with hundreds of beautiful snakes, and so many different types of morphs, it was almost overwhelming!

I wish I lived closer to NH--because I'd be all about getting a summer job working for Kara and Kev

I can't really put the trip into words so much--suffice it to say, it was an unforgettable experience and when I'm ready to buy my BP--NERD is definitely who I'll be doing business with. Thank you Kara!
