Here's Apache's digs.. I added some sterilized driftwood and he loves winding around it/resting his head on it. He is not a hiding snake; had hides in there for a long time and he just winds himself around them; this is not a temperature issue, so we decided to just put in objects that he can feel secure in between. I plan on improving it by getting clear glass doors instead of the scratched up plexi ones on the cage's front; this cage could be a lot more attractive if I worked on it! It had a divider in it that we removed.
We treated for mites last week; once they are gone I will switch back to aspen, since he likes burrowing for some reason My '06 BP is in the r-maid atop hos cage. (she was in shed; humidity high.)
