Well if the title didn't quite give it away, finally after a week into the shedding process, I woke up this morning to see nothing less than the ghost like remains of renfield's shed in the corner of the tank. It was entirely complete Anyways, along with shedding comes the doodoo lol so I have a question. I'm currently using reptibark as the tanks substrate, and it seems to hold humidity very good, as well as letting Renfield have something to tassle and move around. However, both full and spot clean ups take quite some time. I'd seen the posts about tub setups, newspaper substrates, and yatta yatta, and what it comes down to is I need yalls opinions. The snake could easliy be switched to a tub and not be stressed due to the difference in size, but what about the substrates? Is there a different type that's effective, and easy, but at the same time can hold humidity? Or is newspaper the way to go, and if so, what are some tips for using it efficiently? I'm just trying to make things slightly easier on my part, while not sacrificing anything on behalf of the snake, ya know?
