This is a female 11/2 year old female:

She is approximately 8.5 feet long.
Original owner was unable to keep her due to their landlord.
This was a bit of a surprise for us as we normally don't accept animals on Saturdays....
The CT Humane Society called us in a desperate act as this man was about to leave the snake (free and roaming) in their lobby.
The President of CTHS actually helped out (for the first time) in the fact that he gave the owner our information and a small amount of money for the vet bills this snake will now create. (I do mean small, but we are always greatfull for anything).
She has a bad burn on her nose as you can see in the photos.
She has been fed a large rabbit weekly for the past year.... She is quite fat and appears to be in good health besides the burn.
We along with our Veterinarian will be cleaning her old wound later tonight, and with some help I am sure she will heal up soon.
At the moment she is very very stressed. I have her temporary enclosure covered and she seems to do better that way.
I am worried that she will regurge the rabbit she was fed yesturday, but as with all Rock Pythons we have come across, I don't think she will have a problem eating again.

We are off to do our normal Saturday feild herping adventure after her vet visit. So I'm sure I'll be posting more shots soon....
Thanks
Rusty
