I have a quick question for the group. On my hot side the temps are holding nicely with a under hide temp of 92 and outside temp of 84-85. On the cool side though I added a UTH heater because it would drop to like 74-75. So on this side now my temp inside cool hide is high ... around 85 and my outside hide temps are 76-77. I have this side on a dimmer switch and my hot sides are on thermostats. If I boost the dimmer switch to get the outside cool hide temp up, then my inside cool hide temp will climb even higher. I was thinking about drilling some holes in the top of his hide but then doesn' t this defeat the purpose of the hide? Just wondering what everyone else uses to keep their cool hide temps not too warm while maintaining the temps on the outside.
