Hey folks!

We're finally back...weary from a very long drive into the wee hours of the morning. We had an awesome time visiting with family and such. I won't bore you with the slideshows from that, but I figured y'all would enjoy some pictures from the show in Arlington we were able to attend.

I got to meet Chris (Cueball!!!) and hang out with him a bit. He introduced me to Bob Clark, which was very cool! Bob was pretty busy, but I did get to spend some time chatting with one of the guys working his booth. They were awesome! I also got to meet Mike Wilbanks and Tony Hurt! I got to spend a fair amount of time talking with Tony. He's a great guy! Everybody was! And just as we were on our way out, I finally got to meet Becky (SatanicIntention) as she was coming in. I was very glad I didn't miss her! VERY sorry, though, that I wasn't able to meet up with anyone else!

Alrighty...without further ado...here's some pics!

A very sweet little albino! (The flash made its eye look all weird) Holding this baby made me seriously reassess my opinion of albinos in general...SO pretty!!

A wee little Lesser!

A very sweet Butter! Chris kept trying to talk me into buying it...as if I was walking around with $6000 in my pocket! Silly Cueball!

And here's Mr. Silly himself! (With me, of course...so there I am, in case any of you were curious!) I'm holding the Butter in that pic, standing beside Bob Clark's table. And you can get a peek of my husband lurking in the background...

Curiosity overwhelmed any aversion I may have had, and I finally touched and held my first millipede. Their bodies feel like little armored tubes...and their little feet grip very tightly! It was a bit of a challenge getting it off and back into its enclosure. I'm glad for the experience that has fulfilled the curiosity...I don't think I feel any need to own one, though. LOL

My daughter Petra, and I standing at Tony Hurt's table. That's him right behind us. He was awesome to talk to! Petra is holding a VPI axanthic that made me realize Internet pictures indeed NEVER do these guys justice...even as mature as that one was, it looked strikingly different from a "normal" BP...very beautiful! And I had a very sweet little Spider that just wanted to crawl into my purse and go home with me! (I had to tell her "no." )

Petra holding a very sweet Olive Python

Petra standing beside Bob Clark's "Fluffy." This picture was the closest I could come to capturing the enormity of this snake...and it doesn't really come close to seeing it in person. AMAzing!!!

And just for fun....a picture of the kids at a fun little park we went to in McKinney. They had a blast running around in the fountains that sprayed up out of the ground. My kids are Petra, Austin, and Nathaniel. Zack & Alex are my brother's twin boys. (I'm not 100% sure I got the names attached to the right ones! LOL)

Anyhow....thanks for letting me share! Hope you enjoyed them! Now to try and catch up on a mountain of threads!
