I may not be able to feed my snake tonight because I looked at him today (cage cleaning day) and he seems to be getting very dull and there's whitish spaces between the scales. He doesn't have eyecaps yet, but he's definitely turning blue!
So I don't want to further stress him if he's going into shed right away. I also had another surprise coming home from work today, he left urate in his warm hide (which I promptly cleaned - of COURSE he does it JUST after I clean his cage!). My boyfriend has never seen me so happy over something peeing before
So, how long after a feed will snakes continue with urate deposits? There was no fecal matter (my first thought was 'YES, something for the vet!') so I don't know what that means compared to his digestion.
So yeah, just a Hero Update! ^^
