Found the first snake of the year for me today (actually 2 but the other kingsnake was gone in a blink of an eye).......and it was a great one. A beautiful speckled kingsnake......it gave me a very nice tail 'rattle' and everything. I saw another box turtle and a nice looking skink too.....not bad for a 30 minute walk, huh?
