We moved to PA almost 1 year ago, and kept seeing signs everywhere for this park. Yesterday was beautiful, so we decided to check it out.....OMG!!! It was HUGE!! 3600 acres, chock full of different things to see, gift shop, welcome center, historical sites and monuments, bike, hike,+horse trails, paved tour-by car trail, and lots of different habitat sections: streams, open fields, deep woods, pond areas, and several tree groves. There was lots of wildlife to see, and I took Hemlock and Havoc along too. Lots of photo ops....will DEFINATELY return on a herpin' trip!!!

...saw tons of these at least 100....they looked kind of thin and scruffy-lookin though....overpopulation perhaps?

...these as well as historical statues, posts, and sites were scattered throughout the park.

...while headin down to the stream, -sniff sniff-, I wondered why it smelled so bad, when i stumbled upon this morbid scene.
this goes through the middle of the park.

first Hemlock, kept nosing everything(she doesn't get out much), then Havoc..he loves the outdoors!!!! Whenever I go somewhere, i usually take him.
I did not want to leave this place..oodles of spots for a picninc lunch, coulda stayed two days and still not seen the whole park. Coming prepared next time....

mom, can I drive home?.. well, alright then......
For anyone that lives in, or comes to visit PA, a visit to this park will not dissapoint you! ENJOY
