OK so today I bought a digital thermometer with a probe

i fiddled with differnt wattage of bulbs at etc and now i have managed to get the surface temps (ground) temps perfect....90 on one side and 83 on the other...middle is about 87...but the air temp isnt go great only about 80....but to get the air temp up the surface temp goes up into like the 100's...any help? i have a UTH on side and a 75 watt infared bulb on the other
