Hard to pick out pics of all our babies, but I felt like posting a few. I love em all to bits.

This is my 17 year old cat Cleo. We've been together through thick and thin, I got her when she was a rescued kitten, and she's still going pretty strong. She's on a perscription diet for her kidneys now, and quite the little old lady. She's without question my little princess and is loyal/codependant to the extreme. She leads me through routines, cuddles with me when I need it most, and amazes people with her ability to get along with our other critters. One of a kind kitty. I'm really scared to lose her, I can't even remember what it was like to not have her around. I'm lucky that at her age she's in such great shape!

Here she is tolerating Bowie, our male bunny. He came named Bowie because he has one blue eye and one brown eye like David Bowie does, and we're major fans (there's even a Labyrinth poster hanging over the rabbit cage) so we kept the name. He was abandoned by his previous owner due to allergies. Very very sweet fella. Even likes to play with string like a cat does, as shown below! He grabs it, tugs, and bounces around it. TOO cute.

This is the little monster who kinda picked Bowie out. They had to go on a bunny date to make sure they got along, and it was love at first sight (Yes, both of them are fixed, no babies here!) Daphne's the boss, Bowie is her lapdog/minion. She was a rescue too, but from a neighbor who was keeping her outside in the AZ heat and wanted to get rid of her. We took her in intending to find her a good home and... well, we fell in love. So now Daphne's a spoiled little snuggly house rabbit with an attitude.

The lovebuns together. Never in a million years expected to be rabbit people, but these two little furniture nibbling carpet destroyers have completely stolen our hearts.

This is Zell, our little dinosaur. Well, technically Karen's little dinosaur, because she's very bonded to her and I'm only second best mommy. I'll do if Karen's not around, otherwise forget it, lol. Ever since she raised her crest at Cleo and hissed at her, the kitty does not consider her a bird and never messes with her. Which is how Zell got her nickname the little dinosaur Her real name comes from the video game character from FF8 of the same name because they have the same hair and we thought she was a boy when we got her. She was on sale at Petco, so she might almost count as a rescue too.

Our doves, Q on the left and Jeanie on the right! They're very quiet and every once in the while give off a soft coo-coo noise or -if they're annoyed with each other- a quiet angry giggle. Otherwise, they don't do much but eat poop and snuggle with each other and in general be cute. They're both girls, Q named after the species on Star Trek for her starfield coloration and kind of general delightful pointlessness, and Jeanie named after the David Bowie song Jean Genie for the acid wash coloration on her wing.

And that, aside from Falkor and soon Gomez, is our little bestiary.
