Hmmm how can I be feeling "empty nest" syndrome when I still have 3 more in the nest LOL.

My oldest is moving into an apartment today with her room mates and for some silly reason I'm all teary over it. She's just short of 18 (same age I was when I got my first place of my own) and I know this is the right move for her and all that. Darn it tho my momma's heart is sort of sad today that my first little girl has a home of her own. Silly isn't it.

Anyway, before I get all disgustingly teary-eyed yet again.....any ideas on a nice idea for a present for the new apartment. I was thinking of getting one of those pre-paid Mastercards online so the girls could go out and pick whatever they like or even use it for groceries as they can be used as a debit card or anywhere that takes Mastercard. The nice thing about those is that if she ever gets stuck for cash, I can run to the nearest Rite-Aid and put money on the card for her for a very small fee (much better and faster than Western Union). Does that sound like something a trio of 18-21 year olds might like?
