    Something has changed...

    For several years I had my VE thermostats set to pulse and never saw as much consistent basking under heat as I have when recently switching them to dimming.

    An example is my half-dwarf burm who for the 8 months since I've had him has mostly laid in the front of his enclosure, seldomly at times basking under his RHP. Since the switch, he is under there almost all the time, and I wonder if the consistent sort of variation and stability in heat is much more natural to the reptilian body.

    Perhaps you might give it a try.
