Good day ladies and gents.

First of all before I start just asking questions.

I use to have a small collection of BP. Had 14 BP's and 40% of them I bred myself for the age old reason I wanted certain morphs but just couldn't afford the ones I wanted so I bred the ones I wanted.

But a few years ago due to a particularly cold winter and a unfortunate powerfailure while I was on a fishing trip. I lost about 90% of my collection. We have something called loadshedding in south africa and when the power came back after my areas loadshedding time, the breaker tripped.

I want to get back into the BP hobby since my son's have now started to show some interest in the 2 I still have with me. And when they saw the pieds, superstripes,coral glows ect now as with thier father they want them all lol.

Now back then I bread the ones I wanted but this time round I want to focus a little more on the quality of the BP instead of just breeding a ghost for example, breed a echi ghost so that I get the finer outline and the colour of the BP will be enhanced and stay vibrant when the BP gets older. That is if what I read it correct.

So I have been doing some research to see what genes allow for what to happen when they are added to the gene stack of the snake your producing.

But I have had some trouble locating a website or thread here answering my questions.

For example I understand that a enchi would enhance the colour and also define the patern more on the BP. Lesser and butter and fire helps with the BP keaping it's colour as the BP ages. From what I have read so please correct me if I am wrong.

What I would like if there is someone on here that has the knowledge to help me out with just a basic idea of what morphs to add to my future breeding projects to get the best quality BP.
