Part of the hobby, at least in my opinion is researching the animals you keep. I like to learn about their natural environment and prefer animals that closely resemble what they look like in the wild.
Up to this point the animals I've kept come from tropical or sub tropical areas.
When I ended up going the Morelia Bredli route the term "desert species" was used to describe the snake's habitat. Although I have had THE COMPLETE CARPET PYTHON book for years and read each section for each species carefully, I still had a limited picture of the Bredli's home.
I surfed through some pictures on the web, and started looking at videos and I came up with this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNe9pTLCM70&t=326s
No only is the content beautiful, the actual video is well made and comes with a relaxing soundtrack.
The habitat has a surprising amount of green vegetation, water holes and very tall trees.
I hope the Bredli fans enjoy the video as much I do.
I'm happy to have one of these in my collection.
