So my bp just finished shedding, and I noticed some bad looking scales and a pinkish belly. Is this a beginning scale rot? He had been soaking in water a lot lately, but I thought it was due to his oncoming shed. The little black flecks on the scales are pieces of coco fiber. I wetted the coco fiber and it retained lot of moisture this time. I was thinking about getting a small fan and putting it in his cage for a while to dry out the fiber a little. Any other suggestions?
