So Predictable. Or Is It?
This was a really nice handling session.
I could not be happier with this, Nick Mutton produced Morelia Bredli holdback.
Kevin made his deck rail debut after eliminating 2 meals and settling in.
I know I'm the proud owner but I have to say even in a dark phase, he's beautiful!
What an animal! You may have heard about the older Bredli pythons being mellow and easy to handle, and that is holding true here.
Kevin was very hissy coming out of his cage, but never tried to bite. Once he was out, he kept moving back toward me.
Other than my Gus Rentfro produced, Barranquilla, Colombian boa, this is the only other snake that comes from a breeder with superior knowledge about the animals they produce.
It is a reality that Centralian Pythons change colors. He was very dark in his cage and semi dark outside, but after about 20 minutes in natural sunlight, he started to lighten up.
He is the perfect replacement for the retic I had to place.
Kevin is going to be 3 years old in September.
He's established and fairly confident.
I'm looking forward to the next carpet python publication from Nick and Justin.
Aussie pythons are different and IMO special. If you are on the fence, jump it and come to the Carpet side!
