You would not know today after 4 inches of snow that yesterday was a great day for reptile photos.
I've been surprised this spring that both the carpet and boa grew noticeably over the winter. Jewel seems to have added length and she's almost 7 years old.
I'll have to get some exact measurements on her. She's actually cooperative most of the time so I'm expecting I'll have a number I can post eventually.
I suspect she's 7 - 7.5 feet. This picture shows her length. I have a hard time getting full body shots these days because I have to back up to get her in.
Having a "Mutt" is great. I have no idea what is mixed in with her coastal roots. She has maintained her facial coloring, but her body has browned out a bit.
This snake was a dirt cheap expo pickup that has become priceless to me.
Though her density is less than the boa constrictor, she has become heavier every year.
She hasn't eaten in over a month and she refused her last meal. She sets her own schedule when it comes to food and I'm never concerned.
I think this is about it.
I can't recommend the coastal and Bredli carpet group enough.
Thanks for looking!
