I posted a related question in the Corn Snake section yesterday. What height enclosure do you provide for your BCCs in both their first few years and as adults? I'm asking because I'm trying to decide between the AP T10 with 15 inch height or spending another $144 for the AP T12 with 24 inch height. The idea is that this would be the boa enclosure for a few years, then it becomes the permanent home for a corn snake.

The other options I'm looking at adding are the sliding doors with locks, basking shelf, white LED lights, and having a Pro Products RHP shipped & installed (likely 125 watt). Besides adding a Herpstat, is there anything I'm missing or should do differently here?

Assuming I provide plenty of hides, should I have any concerns placing this in a fairly busy part of the house, like a living room?
