So my Father passed away on 06 December, approximately 600km from where I live. I took the trip, attended the Funeral etc. and have been away from home for just on 2 weeks. First bit of bad luck is that I paired 5 pairs this season and not one female took. Second bit of bad luck is that while I was away, a female Enchi Pastel that I never paired this year because she had an RI during the breeding season, dropped an egg while I was away, she was paired last season with a Pastave male but never took, so must have retained sperm, the egg she laid is pretty far gone due to dehydration, nevertheless I am trying to rehydrate it, and it is in the incubator. Third bit of bad luck is that the female seems to have 2 eggs stuck, I will try to massage them out, if not, I will aspirate them. Pics to follow.
