    Eastern Indigo Skull

Thought some people here might find this interesting - I recently got this hatchling eastern indigo skull off of a local breeder, who’s also a skeleton articulator and cleaned it when the baby was lost to unknown reasons. I collect skulls in the first place AND drymarchon is my favorite genus, so I was doubly excited to get ahold of it. I’ve never looked that closely at a snake skull before so the teeth rows and anatomy is fascinating.

Sadly I can’t get good detail shots since it’s so small and I don’t have a macro lens for my phone; it’s only as long as one digit of my finger. But here’s some less satisfying pictures if anyone wants to see it.
