Obviously $300 for a single gene banana is overpriced (although standard at PetSmart), but OP is talking about a banana spotnose. There are 3 listed on MM right now, all males, with a price range of 325-375. Now, would I personally pay that for a banana combo? No. But that's because I don't like bananas, lol.
