ok the first thing i wanna say is that Taylor designed and created this logo for me. so when tttaylorrr gets back, please let's all give my friend a big round of applause and hugs.
i commissioned Taylor to design a logo for SSEX (aka Seaside Serpents and Exotics) b/c why not? it would be fun and i have some snakes to move. this was a fun and tough process. we yelled, we shot down ideas, couldn't do stuff b/c of copyright, we almost went bankrupt in R&D butt we stuck to it. Taylor was very good at drawing out my ideas, holding true and made an abstract vision a beautiful reality. here a quick story on our design process...
Final Logo Design will be in Post #2
this was my initial sketch that i pitched to Taylor. does it look familar to anyone?
if it does, it's supposed to be a play on our classic ol' Seattle Supersonics logo. see:
i wanted a snake like in the ol' snake eating apples game making an outline of our city skyline. i wanted to include an iconic Seattle design or landmark. i also wanted it to look like a neon sign.
it turned out to be really complicated but some here are some more sketches from Taylor. look eggs!
look this one has squigly sperm!
^ these were also based other Supersonics logos too butt i didn't like these ideas.
i really like that cute snake tho:
now it's taking shape:
here's a mock-up i sent back. there was a 4-sided diamond framing the Space Needle but i wanted a flat top, 5-sided diamond instead. i also wanted a stronger jawline on the snake.
and Oh. My. Gawd!!! it's beautiful!
let's add the name and flatten it out for an alternate logo design.
u guys, Oh. My. Gawd!! imma cry!!
Taylor finessed it some more. adjusted lines, glow, etc.
let's see the logo on some sexxxy models.
yas!
