i know alotta peeps who have location services turned completely off. esp. if they have a work-issued phone. some have paranoia of the boss. some of the government. some of their significant other. some big tech company. advertisers. etc. etc. so for some or all of these reasons, many usually turn off this feature and service. of course, this is assuming that u have your phone w/ u as u move about your day and life.
i thought this was all kinda creepy at first but now i don't mind. i still get kind of an uneasy laugh when i get a google notification asking me to confirm/save something on my timeline, but at the end of the day - i hope my data goes towards better products, service and stuff. location might even save my life if i get lost or incapacitated.
