    Question about baby's strength

I am still kinda new to breeding and when I cut my eggs this morning I encountered something that I knew i eventually would encounter. I prodded a baby to make sure she was alive (assuming she for now since banana is in the clutch and it is a black pewter baby). The baby did not respond at all so I thought this beautiful, fully developed baby was stillborn, drowned or otherwise died. Her head was close to the top so i pulled its head out and up just enough to bonk it on its nose. I got a strong response from this (not dead yay!). She seems to be very weak though and can't lift her head. She just stares at me. I have never messed with a baby in the egg so I just don't know if the baby is fine or not.
Is there anything I can/should do to help out or is it just one of those things nature does and all I can do is wait for her to come out of her egg on her own and hope for the best? She isn't the best outcome in the clutch but she does look really amazing. I am probably over reacting and she will be just fine.
