    Waiting on a new retic....

I'm currently waiting on a retic......but I don't know what I'm going to be getting yet. I was on a wait list for a purple albino male dwarf. The breeder knew I wanted a smaller snake and wasn't going to breed so offered a lavender albino male SD. Pictures were sent to me, we agreed on a price, I paid for the snake plus shipping. The day the snake is supposed to be shipped out I got a call from the breeder about an issue that arose. His policy is to verify the gender of a snake again before it goes out. Well the male I was going to receive was actually a female. Now here is where things got tricky. From the clutch the breeder thinks he had a 1.1 pair of identical looking snakes. Prior the breeder sold the "female" to someone that wanted to use her for breeding. The breeder is now second guessing which snake had got sent out to the other customer and if the pair had somehow gotten mixed up or if there were actually 2 similar females and one got mis-sexed. The breeder went back through all the photos he had of the pair and can't find a time when they would have gotten swapped. Currently the breeder and I are waiting to hear back from the other customer on verification of the gender of the animal received. Depending how that goes I'll have several options.

Option 1: The snake I was waiting on gets sent to the first customer and their snake gets sent to me.
Option 2: I take the lavender albino female SD, and other customer keep his snake.
Option 3: A somewhat similar snake but upgraded to lavender albino tiger male SD.
Option 4: Stay on the waiting list till the breeder has something else I like.
