I'm wondering if a non-retained eye cap was removed when I was helping Norm with the remaining stuck shed on his head from when we bought him. His right eye specifically. You can see that it is edged in a little white. It's also smaller than his left, which looks normal to me.

If the good eye cap was removed, will it repair itself during his next shed? Do I need to take him to the vet? Would any damage be permanent?
