    Re: Snakes + other animals?

My Zelda great dane and rainbow my reticulated python were out at the same time. The dogs know that if I have a snake that getting near me pisses me off so they tend to keep their distance. I was sitting on the couch one day holding Rainbow and Zelda walks up from behind and Zelda gives her a big sloppy lick across the top of her head. Zelda never licks anything. Rainbow just sat there like "What just happened?" and froze for a moment. Now I keep the dogs up when I have them out. Not worth the risk. Both of them could hurt the other and that is not a fight I want to be in the middle of.
