It seems odd that a snake that is 5 years old can go through a major growth spurt, but this girl is doing it.
She is also looking more and more Coastal Carpet Python these days.
Jewel was always a picky eater, strange for a carpet, but she did her thing.
This summer has been a 180. No refusals, eats F/T, live whatever. She is also ready to eat again within a week of feeding sometimes less.
This is how she looks today.
Her coloring is starting to mature and I actually like it. It looks more "wild type" than it used to.
I can easily see the body thickness, and can feel her increase in weight.
She seems to enjoy the deck rail. The retic does not, he actually has issues sitting still lol!
Her head is growing and looking a little more impressive.
I'm not sure I'll have her out, for photos, anymore this year, so take a last look before fall hits.
