I would up the temps a little on the hot side. 86-88F is a good goal or range. I have an RHP and heat tape on the hot side of my 6X2' Boaphile. Ground temp, depending where under the RHP and where on the heat tape, ranges from 86-89, with about an 87-88F average.
I would also keep cool side closer to 78-80F, with 78F being fine. 76F is not great and gives little margin for error, especially if humidity comes up. If you said 80F day and drops to 76F at night, I would be less worried, but if maintaining temps, shoot for 78F.
Regarding humidity, I aim for 60%+ for my BCI. In the winter, I mist with warm water every other day to keep it around 60% (otherwise, it tends to drop to about 50-55%). In the summer, it's a non-issue and is usually 68-75% in her tank. I don't think BCI's should be under 50-55% for any extended period, although they are not as sensitive as some snakes, including other Boas, and a few days probably wouldn't hurt them. However, I shoot for 60-70% normally, and 75-80% when in shed.
You mentioned inquisitive. Oh boy are they. Behira, my two year old and roughly 1,000G female Ghost BCI, loves exploring and half the time I have her out and try to put her back, she wants to stay out! I do not over handle her, but she, of all my snakes, seems to enjoy handling and exploring and climbing, etc. the most.
I love Behira for her "personality" and braveness. She isn't afraid of anything.
Good luck and keep asking questions. Plenty of Boa peeps on here who will be happy to help. Keep us in the loop on her growth too!
