I cant seem to keep the humidity up in my ball pythons tank 40g long. It stays at about 40% she's been shedding for 2 1/2 weeks now (4 months old) she eats fine. I bought green moss I have two different things in her tank with green moss and I bought a mister that's set on a timer to spray directly at the moss on the hot side. Temp is fine hot side stays at 90-95 degrees and cool side stays around 86 degrees. This also makes me worry about my pastel vanilla (1 year old) who has a 20g long tank with a little bit of moss that I spray 2 times a day. his tank sits at 90 degrees and 40% humidity too. I just want to make sure they're comfortable.
I have 3 friends with normal ball pythons and they've never worried about humidity and don't even track what its at and they're snakes are 10 years old.
please help
