ok so a "5metre" long python shed was found along some trail, woods and river near Warsaw, Poland. yes, that can be a pause for caution while authorities look for the lost, escaped, abandoned snake as they put out PSA's to the public. what i found really interesting is that they are using drones in the search for the big snake. a drone's birdseye view might be helpful if the snake is out in the open, but i bet it's tucked itself into a hole or at least definitely under brush.

Residents in an area south of Warsaw have been warned against taking walks in the open after a more than five-metre-long snake skin was found in their neighbourhood.
An animal welfare organisation has said the find means that a dangerous snake, identified as a Python molurus, or Indian python, could be on the loose and hiding somewhere along the Vistula River in the district of Konstancin Jeziorna, just south of the Polish capital.
The Animal Rescue Polska Foundation says it was notified after the freshly-shed snake skin was found in the area on Saturday.
“The moult is fresh, so the snake is hungry and can be aggressive,” the organisation has said on its website.
It has asked people "to refrain from taking walks in the area and sleeping out in the open” and “to watch the area closely."
It added that children and pets were at special risk of attack by the snake, which it said had left traces of being on the move.
A search was under way for the snake on Monday, Polish media reported.
Polish firefighters deploy drones in hunt for giant python
Polish firefighters have deployed drones and boats to search for a giant python on the loose near Warsaw.
Officials have urged people to avoid walking in the open and by the Vistula River, warning that the snake could be hungry and aggressive.
A search started on land and on water after residents found a freshly shed, five-metre-long skin in the Konstancin Jeziorna area, just south of the Polish capital, last Saturday.
Fire brigade spokesman Paweł Frątczak said on Friday that firefighters were using four drones to search the area from the air, backed by four boats and pontoons and an employee of the Warsaw zoo.
The authorities do not know where the snake came from, the PAP news agency reported.
here's the shed. apparently it was found at night in the thickets.
