I'm kinda curious if tribbles would make good snake food (or large enough carnivorous herps in general)? In case you don't know what a tribble is, It's an animal from Star Trek that look like literal rabbit sized balls of fur that breed like if aphids and rabbits could breed together on speed. They'e already kept in check by reptile on their homeworld so earth reptiles might like them too. Let's say for the sake of argument that tribbles are perfectly edible to earth reptiles and the tribbles are humanely gassed, decontaminated of any alien parasites or disease, vacuum sealed and frozen on a facility on tribble's homeworld( you do NOT want a live one on earth), and shipped to earth. I can just imagine the number of people keeping snakes with an easier alternative feeders than rodent or rabbits (for some people at least), And the number of klingon herpers as well .
